Yeshiva Ohr Simcha of Englewood cordially invites you to attend a special lecture series on "The Convergence of Torah and Science".

Rabbi Dr. Luchins has his Ph.D from Columbia University in biophysical chemistry. He was formerly Director of Research at AVIV Biomedical, Inc. He has lectured internationally on findings in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics within a Torah framework.

Men and women are invited to enjoy this special lecture series that will include delicious refreshments and Maariv after the lecture. Suggested donation $5.00.

The Sefer Torah was dedicated by Mrs. Tessie Markowitz and the Schnur families of New City, New York, in loving memory of their dear and devoted husband and father, Mr. Fred Markowitz.

Local residents were pleased when Yeshiva Ohr Simcha students offered to assist them with the mitzvah of checking their mezuzahs an tefillin.  Mezuzahs were taken down and put up by the students, while expert sofers carefully checked each one. More...
